Clio is the designer and maker of ethical fine jewellery, made in London. A specialist in the ancient technique of lost wax casting, Clio takes inspiration from fascinating flora and fauna and delicately recreates their stories as golden miniature sculptures. Clio’s work is a celebration of our natural world and the beautiful precious materials found within it.
As the daugher of a scientist, Clio’s lifelong interest in flora and fauna guides her inspirations from the deepest, darkest oceans to the highest canopy tops.
Now an award-winning designer, Clio is a graduate from the prestigious Camberwell College of Art, where she studied Sculpture, with a focus on traditional carving, lost wax casting, and concepts of beauty. After completing the Jewellery Manufacturing Diploma at the British Academy of Jewellery, Clio was awarded a place on the renowned Setting Out Program at the Goldsmiths’ Centre in London.
