Description
Jennifer Bloy FRSA FIPG
Trained at the Sir John Cass as a mounter but on leaving gained a position as designer at Eaton Jewellery creating designs for the workshop. From there going to Bellingham and Epstein designing jewellery and obje.
Self employed thereafter becoming one of the designers for McCabe McCarty creating obje designs for heads of state. During this time I’ve taught at The Cass, Holts Achademy, the RCA and The Foundation programme at the Goldsmiths’ centre. I’ve won numerous 1st prizes for design at the Goldsmiths Awards, been on the GCDC council for many years and was the second only female chairman.
I’ve also chaired the IPG and am currently the longest serving member of the executive of the latter. I became a freeman of Goldsmiths’ Hall and am proud to say that I am now on the Livery of that fine institution.
