I am an exceptional Gemstone cutter. I am confident enough to say that there’s nobody in the UK that cut stones at the level that I am doing it.
I have a bit of a colourful background (all positive, like being a small-scale diamond and gemstone miner for 20 years) but only started cutting Gemstones during Covid on 22 Feb 2020, self-taught with some YouTube videos. Since then I have achieved some outstanding highlights for such a short period of time.

Certified as an Advanced Cutter, considered to be a Master by my peers.

In the process of launching my own jewellery brand – Makalani London . . .
I have quite a good following online and my stones sell fairly well and evolving now to a point where people ask me if they buy stones from me if can I also make some jewellery for them. Which then bring us to the point where we are now with my collection of jewellery with my own precision cut stones as centre stones, hence the Motto; ’The Gem makes the Jewel’.
This is how I see my brand: This colourful collection accentuates the link between the outdoors quality of life and high-end glamour of city life. Each piece has an individual design style to compliment the stone which will make this collection very commercially attractive to a wider audience.
